Relationships often run into bumps in the road. Recognizing what these problems might be, in advance, will provide a better chance of getting past them. Successful couples learn how to work through the complex problems of life and tackle problems together.
Poor communication skills are responsible for most relationship problems. Sometimes this is because a partner has difficulty expressing what is on their mind in a way that the other person can truly hear and understand. Other times, it is because a partner is distracted, not listening, too angry or simply has impossible expectations.
Learning how to communicate, listen and accept people for who they are, will lead to more successful relationships. This is part of the learning experience offered in my Marriage & Relationship Counseling Sessions, individually and/or as couples.
